Cube Cloud
Enterprise Platform Engineering
An enterprise platform spanning CRM, ERP, supply chain, warehousing, logistics and business workflows. My work covered system architecture, technology selection, engineering practice and technical delivery.
Overview
The platform brought together systems for customer relationships, enterprise planning, supply chain operations, warehousing and logistics. Business processes crossed those boundaries, so integration and delivery were central parts of the engineering work.
My role combined architecture and technology selection with improving engineering practices, guiding the development team and coordinating delivery. It required attention to both individual services and the way the wider platform was built and operated.
Systems and tools
- Business areas
- CRM, ERP, supply chain, warehousing, logistics and business workflows.
- Services and data
- Java, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud; Nacos for service discovery, MySQL and Redis for data, RocketMQ for messaging.
- Delivery and operations
- Docker, Jenkins / CI/CD, ELK and SkyWalking.
My role
- System architecture & technology choices
- Contributed to architecture and technology selection for an enterprise platform built around Java microservices and interconnected business systems.
- Engineering practice
- Worked on improving how the team developed and delivered software, with containerisation, CI/CD and operational tooling as part of the platform’s engineering stack.
- Technical leadership
- Combined hands-on engineering work with technical management of the development team and coordination of delivery across business requirements and system dependencies.
Engineering context
This experience is the enterprise engineering background behind my current AI projects: service boundaries, integration contracts, operational visibility and the practical work of getting software delivered.
The questions remain relevant when the components include models and retrieval services. Where does state belong? Which component owns a decision? What evidence makes a result reviewable? Those are the problems I continue to work on.
Cube Cloud is commercial work. This overview describes my role and the platform’s broad technical scope; its source code and internal system details are not public.
